  Beatrice's father was Joseph H. Doane. She was married twice; first to Harry Philip Stein (aka Philip Harry Stein) on 12 Nov 1903 in Vigo County, Indiana. Mr. Stein died 14 Jan 1911. Following Mr. Stein's death, Beatrice married a gentleman whose surname was Briggs; they were divorced prior to 1940. Beatrice enjoyed a successful career as an actress in New York City and performed in many plays. She died at her Miami, Florida home where she had been living for 15 years. Her remains were cremated per her Death Certificate. It is believed that she did not have any children with either of her two husbands.
