- Bettie P. Blasdel, 75, went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 26, 2004.
She was a member of the Brown Street Baptist Church for over 40 years. Bettie was an instructor and teacher of bowling, as well as a prominent bowler who won the Akron Beacon Journal Bowling Classic. She was also a Avon representative.
Preceded in death by her father and mother, Leo and Artie Gilbert; brother, Jack Gilbert; and sister, Virginia Buck lew-Staats.
Bettie was the be loved wife of Carl F. Sr. for 57 years; loving mother of seven children, and is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, three stepgreat-grand children; brothers; sisters and a host of nieces and nephews.
Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
