      Obituary
      October 27, 2003 Arthur William Jorolemon, 81, of 42 Clinton St., Jordan, NY, passed away at home following an extended illness with cancer, on Monday, October 27, 2003. Arthur was predeceased by his daughter Bonnie Guilfoyle. Arthur is survived by: his wife of 59 years, Verna "Pat" Bowden; a daughter Sharon (Michael) Stowell of Charleston, SC; and a son Robert (Teresa) Jorolemon of Weedsport, NY. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Along with his brother Bob, he owned and operated Otis Jorolemon and Sons farm equipment dealership, which was started by their father in 1937. Arthur was a member of the New York Farm Equipment Dealer's Association, served on the White Farm Equipment National Dealer Advisory Council, and was a bulk milk hauler for the Dairylea Cooperative in Syracuse, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Weedsport First Baptist Church, 30 Liberty Street, Weedsport, NY 13166 or the Weedsport Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 1230, Weedsport, NY 13166. Calling hours will be on Saturday, November 1, from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Jewell Funeral Home, 8886 S. Seneca St., Weedsport. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, at the First Baptist Church, 30 Liberty St., Weedsport.
