  Martin Luther Estess was the 2nd son of William and Sarah Estes(s) of Pike Co., MS., born circa 1825 in Pike Co., MS. Martin married Sarah Phillips in 1855. By 1880 Sarah was a widow living in Lincoln Co., MS. By 1890, Sarah had moved to Anderson Co., Tx., to live with her son, Lewis Henderson Estes. I have no proof of the burial place of Martin Estes(s) although I suspect that he is buried in the same cemetery as his father, located about 500 yds south of Stallin's bridge on the bank of the Bogue Chitto river.
