    • Charles Sutton and Ann Mason were united in marriage on May 30, 1818 in Pickering, York District, England. (LDS Records)

      Charles Sutton Sr. died in route from England to America in circa 1819. His remains were supposed to have been thrown in to the Atlantic Ocean. His only son was born at about the same time as his death, but sources differ on the location of the sons birth.
