    • LUBBOCK - Ruth Williams, 82, formerly of Tulia, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009.

      Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel with James Burns of Laguna Park Church of Christ in Laguna Park officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Garden of Memory in Hillsboro.

      Mrs. Williams was born Nov. 5, 1926, in Hill County to Wilbur and Mamie Ozella Campbell Jordan. She married Clayton Williams in 1952.

      Survivors include her husband; three children, Jerry Clayton Williams of Waxahachie and Gary Don Williams and Lisa Gaye Marmolejo, both of Lubbock; three sisters, Velva Kimbrow and Leora McLean, both of Hillsboro, and Bobbie Curlee of Waxahachie; and six grandchildren.

      The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
