- Patsy Sides, 78, of Fort Worth passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at a hospice in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 3 p.m. Friday at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Mr. James Burns officiating. Private interment: Elmwood Park in Abilene. Visitation: prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
Patsy was born Nov. 14, 1929, in Hillsboro, the daughter of Wilber W. and Mamie Ozella Campbell Jordan. She grew up in Hillsboro, where she graduated from Hillsboro High School. On July 1, 1950, she married Billy R. Sides in Fort Worth. The couple has lived in Fort Worth since 1966. She was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith. Patsy enjoyed crafts, especially sewing and making ceramic dolls. She also enjoyed taking care of her plants.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a daughter, Patricia Crowe in 1995; and an infant brother, James Campbell Jordan.
Survivors: Her husband, Billy R. Sides of Fort Worth; daughter, Brenda Humphreys and husband, Kim, of Fort Worth; son-in-law, Randy Crowe of Abilene; sisters, Bobbie Curlee of Waxahachie, Velva Kimbrow and Leora McLean, both of Hillsboro, and Ruth Williams of Lubbock; grandchildren, Justin, Michelle and Michael Humphreys all of Fort Worth, Jennifer Lechler of College Station and Kassie and Brian Crowe, both of Abilene; great-granddaughter, Camden Grace Lechler of College Station; and several nieces and nephews.
