  George Porter Beaman was the son of David and Lucy Beaman. He was born in Antwerp, Jefferson Co., N. Y., and later settled on a farm in Philadelphia, N. Y. before moving to the Gouverneur NY area in 1870. He was married on March 29, 1863 to Janet Ormiston and together they had the ten children listed below. Children: 1. Lucy Belle, b.
