THOMAS, MRS. CLARA
BICKHAM
Died 6:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 24, 1995, at her residence in the Clifton Community near Franklinton. She was 89, and a native of Franklinton. She was a retired schoolteacher with over 40 years of service in Washington Parish Schools. Visiting at Crain Funeral Home, Franklinton, after 9 a.m. until religious services in the chapel at 1 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Ed Griffin. Interment in Ellis Cemetery . Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Denman (Imogene) Brumfield and Mrs. Percy (Lenora) Frazier, both of Franklinton; five grandchildren, Christopher and Steven S. Schilling, Mrs. Brent (Lisa L.) Jenkins, the Rev. Denman Brumfield II, and Frederick J. Brumfield; four great-grandchildren, Lauren L. Box, Brittaney Jenkins, and Kayla and JoelBrumfield; two stepgranddaughters, Faith Bahm and Patri Thomas, both of Franklinton; and four
stepgreat-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, O. Fred Thomas; and parents, W.L. and Beulah Magee Bickham. She was active in the Washington Parish Retired Teachers Association, was a member of Beta Rho Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, Franklinton Garden Club, and Clifton Baptist Church.
