  Arthur Phillip Gebhard age 86, of Copeland Oaks, Sebring, Ohio, went home to be with his Lord on Sept. 19, 2012. He was born in Rochester, N.Y. on Oct. 27, 1925, son to the late Charles and Anna (Craver) Gebhard. He was an avid sports enthusiast, active in Rotary and Special Olympics and served in the US Army during World War II. He had retired from Langie Oil Company in 1984. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Shirley (Smith) Gebhard; son, Jeffrey and daughter-in-law, Debra of Canton; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Nieschwitz of Malvern; daughter-in-law, Mary Van Dusen of Hamburg, N.Y. Art is also survived by his three grandchildren, Sithean, Michael and Danny Gebhard of Hamburg, N.Y. He is preceded in death by his son, Gregory Gebhard. A graveside service will be held in Maplewood Cemetery, Henrietta, N.Y. at the convenience of the family.
