  Ruth Diekmann Dies at 73 Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Diekmann, 73, of Plainfield, who died March 10 at the Salsbury Baptist Home in Charles City, were held March 12 from the UMC at Plainfield, Pastor Russell Eldridge officiating. Jan Fritcher was organist. Pallbearers were Martin and Larry Poppe, James Sievers, Paul Lindner, William Stanley and Dean Dietz. Burial was in Willow Lawn 2emetery. MRS. DIEKMANN was born in Bremer county November 15, 1901, the daughter of Franklin and 0llie Vosseller Boyd. She attended schools of the area and was a graduate of Plainfield high school. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara (Mrs. Norman Poppe); an aunt, Hazel Boyd; three grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
