    • MR. H. VAN MIDDLESWORTH DEAD
      -----
Passed Away This Morning at The Home of His Daughter, Mrs. C. G. Huntington at Piedmont Park.

Mr. Henry Van Middlesworth died this morning at 12:20 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. G. C. Huntington, on Central avenue, Piedmont Park. Mr. Van Middlesworth had been an invalid for just a year and critically ill for the past two weeks and his death was not unexpected.

Mr. Van Middleworth was a native of Waterloo, N. Y., where he had been connected with a wagon manufacturing company. He came to Charlotte a year ago and since that time he and his wife have lived with Mr. and Mrs. Huntington. He was 75 years old, and besides his wife and Mrs. Huntington, is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Frank Nye, of Port Bryon, N. Y.; and one son, Mr. Frank Van Middlesworth, of Colorado.

The arrangements for the funeral have not yet been made. Mr. Huntington was in Orangeburg, S. C., last night and was telegraphed for. He will arrive this morning and the plans for the funeral and interment will be made. It is probable that the remains will be shipped to Waterloo, N. Y.
