  Florella "Jane" (nee Blasdel), Age 80, of Harrison. Passed away January 27, 2012 at Christ Hospital. She was born July 18, 1931 to the late Harry and Ella (nee Jackson) Blasdel. She grew up and Bright and graduated from Bright High School. Jane was a very active member of Legacy Christian Church. She had been a member for 50 years and she made it a point to make people feel welcome at church. She loved traveling with her husband Del. They enjoyed going to Florida, Branson MO, Gatlinburg and out West. Jane was proud of her family and extended family. Her great sense of humor will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. She was the beloved wife of the late Leigh Bittner and Delmar Gibson, loving mother of Ronald (Clara) Moody, James Moody, and mother to Del's children: Jean Russell, Joan Marlatt, Joseph, Jerry, Jeff, Julie, and Jenny Gibson, Joyce Shoemaker, John and Paul Gibson. Dear sister of Patricia Lacy and William Blasdel. Also survived by many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren and her good friend and former husband Lawrence H. Moody. Jane was preceded in death by her daughter Susan Moody and Delmar's children: James and Ginger Gibson. Visitation in the Brater Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, OH 45030 on Thursday, Feb 2 from 5 - 8 PM. Funeral service on Friday at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Gibson Cemetery in Bright, IN. Memorials may be made to the Harrison Life Squad by mailing a check or giving the donation to the funeral home during her visitation or service.
