  Rochester Democrat and Chronicle, Wednesday, July 20, 1898. William Roth, aged 26 years, died yesterday afternoon at St. Mary's Hospital. The remains were taken to the house of the parents, Mathias and Martha Roth, No. 276 Hudson Avenue. The deceased leaves his wife and one child besides his parents, three brothers, George J., Peter and Mathias Jr., and six sisters, Miss Lena, Mrs. Edward Schnaar, Mrs. Joseph LaForce, Mrs. Herman Kretz, Mrs. James Martin, and Mrs. Martin Herbst, all of this city.
