They had one child who survived childbirth - Leonard George Kimpal (1868-1945) 8 Feb 1876 married Lena Hausmann (1853-1882). They had the following children: Frank William Kimpal (1877-1942), Edward Charles Kimpal (1878-1947), and George Joseph Kimpal (1879-1880). 3 Apr 1883 married Mary Ann Schlitzer (1855-1921). They had the following children Caroline Isabella Kimpal (1884-1885), Charles Nicholas Kimpal (1886-1966), and Leon Carl Kimpal (1893-1971) lived at 55 William St. St. Joseph's death record states he was 58 years, 6 months, 3 days old at time of death He was buried 21 Aug 1900 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery near the unmarked graves of his parents, George Adam and Elizabeth Weider Kimpel (Charles spelled his surname differently than his father).
