Born in Dearborn County, he was a retired farmer north of Pennville. He was former director of the Pennville Farm Bureau. Surviving are his wife, Ruth; a son, Delmar Lee of West Lafayette; two daughters, Pauline Daugherty and Laverne Long, both of Pennville; a sister, Naomi Heiskell of Lawrenceburg; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Services at 11 a.m. Friday at Pennville United Methodist Church, with calling from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the Pennville Chapel of Williams and Spencer Funeral Home.
