  Thelma Jean Taylor 3/22/1931 - 5/6/2018 Thelma Jean Taylor, 87, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018. She was born March 22, 1931 in Bright, Indiana, daughter of the late Everett and Anna (Blasdel) Grubbs. Thelma was a member of the Tanner Valley United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She belonged to the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed cooking and reading. She loved being grandma and great grandma. She worked as a Bookkeeper at Pleasant Homes. She is survived by her 2 sons, David (Ann) Taylor of Lawrenceburg, IN, John (Shawn) Taylor of Guilford, IN; daughter, Karen (Greg) Huffman of Lawrenceburg, IN; 8 grandchildren, Tracy (Paul) Meyer, Matt (Renae) Taylor, Angie (Tony) Aramburu, Robin Huffman, Brandon (Jennifer) Huffman, Chris Taylor, Ryan (Carmen) Huffman, Sarah (Sean) Costa; 19 great grandchildren, Dalton, Maggie, Serena, Bradley, Micah, Aaron, Penelope, Calliope, Cooper, Grace, Cora, Kalei, Noah, Hayden, Elizabeth, Alex, Kenji, Trey and Isabella. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Anna Grubbs, husband, William "Bill" O. Taylor, and 10 siblings. Family and friends will be received on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Tanner Valley United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at Tanner Valley United Methodist Church, Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11 am, with Pastor Michael Lawson officiating. Interment will follow in the Glen Haven Cemetery, Harrison, Ohio. Contributions may be made to the Tanner Valley UMC or Miller York Volunteer Fire Department.
