Beverly Joyce Heth was born November 8, 1929 in Traer, Iowa: the daughter of Floyd and Faye (La Dow) Smith. She was united in marriage to Herbert "Herb" Heth on December 10, 1949 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Fairbank; he preceded her in death on November 24, 2008.
Bev worked at Rath for a few years, then worked at Waterloo Community Schools as a secretary to the principal for 28 years, retiring in 1987. She was a charter member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Washburn. Bev was also a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 333. She went on many trips and camped with friends and family.
Bev passed away on Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home at the age of 82 from natural causes.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Herbert and two sisters: Georgia Wilkie and Melba Kascelansky.
Bev is survived by three sons: Michael (Julie) Heth of Gilbert, Arizona, Mark (Rosanne) Heth of Waterloo and Murray (Jane) Heth of Des Moines; seven grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a sister Bonnie Warren of Dunkerton.
Bev will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
