    • Lucinda Dorothy Borchelt, 98, of Springfield died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2002, at Regency Nursing Home.

      She was born July 31, 1904, in Mattoon, the daughter of the Rev. Albert and Anna Decker Neuendorf. She married the Rev. Otto A. Borchelt in 1926; he died in 1992.

      Mrs. Borchelt, a homemaker, was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church.

      Survivors: three daughters, Betty Lou Schuler of Downers Grove, Allene (husband, Edgar) Hartmann of Verona, Mo., and Dolores (husband, David) Brammer of Tonawanda, N.Y.; a son, Donald (wife, Wanda) Borchelt of Springfield; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

      Private services were held. Staab Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
