He enlisted 30 AUG 1862 at Murray NY 151st Regiment NY Volunteer Infantry, discharged 26 JUNE 1865. Wed Sarah E. Bailey & had 7 children: Alyda, Kittie, Jennie, Clara Etta, George, Edith & son J.D. They divorced. 31 MAR 1894 he wed Angeline May Davis & had 5 sons. Died 5 FEB 1925 His Civil War Pension says he died at Clarion, IA.
