    • There is an article about the Munding-Haag upcoming wedding (with a photo of Elaine which can't be used here due to copyright issues) in Democrat and Chronicle (Rochester, New York) on 10 August 1941, page 49. Another article is:

Elaine J. Haag Wed in Simple Church Rites

A lovely informal wedding was solemnized Saturday morning in Holy Rosary Church when Miss Elaine J. Haag, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Haag of Birr Street, became the bride of Bernard L. Munding, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester J. Munding of Selye Terrace. The vows were received by the Rev. Vincent LeFrois, cousin of the bridegroom.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a light blue wool costume suit and carried a white prayer book and white orchids.

Her only attendant was Mrs. Theodore Neidlinger, who wore a caramel brown wool costume suit, and a corsage of gladioli and pompons. N. Lee Hastings, Jr., was best man and ushers were Edward Brennan and Richard Munding, brother of the bridegroom.

The bride's mother wore a wine crepe gown and a corsage of orchids, while the bridegroom's mother was gowned in brown crepe, and also wore an orchid corsage.

A reception at the Rochester Club followed the ceremony, after which the couple left for Lake Placid. They will make their home in Oneonta.

Mr. Munding is a graduate of Ohio Northern University and a member of Theta Kappa Phi Fraternity.
