    • Santay, Richard McRoberts
      Surprise, AZ: Age 94, passed away on February 21, 2013. He attended Aquinas in Rochester, NY, graduating in 1936. Richard received his Bachelor's Degree from Ithaca College and Master's Degree in Education from Syracuse University. He served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force and was retired from the B.O.C.E.S. #2 in Rochester, New York. Richard enjoyed swimming and was an avid ping pong player, earning many medals in the Senior Olympics. He was also a passionate advocate for Children and Education. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Mary Santay and brothers, Sam and Tom Santay. He is survived by his children, Rhea (Jesse) Acosta and Rick Santay, grandchildren, Sean, Monique, Rachel, Jose and Cassandra, sister, Marie Costich, loving companion, Bea Odom and several nieces and nephews.
