  EUGENE BENNETT, age 74 of Lewisburg, Ohio died Saturday, February 15, 2003, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Born on December 12, 1928, in Harrison Township, (Preble County) Ohio, he was the son of the late Edgar & Elizabeth Mae (Meyers) Bennett. He worked at the Marble Cliff Quarry in Lewisburg, Ohio and retired in 1993 after 24 years with the State of Ohio Highway Maintenance Department. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lewisburg. Preceded in death by Brother: William Bennett in 1999 and Sisters: Gladys Bennett in 1979 and Ruth Tankersley in 1995. Survived by Brother & Sister-in-Law: Richard & Mary Bennett, Lewisburg, Ohio; Sisters & Brothers-in-Law: Mary & Richard Harding, Beavercreek, Ohio, Betty Hurley, Brookville, Ohio, Nina & Robert Hahn, Lewisburg, Ohio and Jeanette & Don Wright, Lewisburg, Ohio. Several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2003 - 2:00 P.M. at the Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Pastor Suzanne Dillahunt officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 18, 2003 from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
