      Mrs. Lena Brodt Hendricks of 20 8. Main St., Jordan, a retired teacher, died Saturday at her home after a long illness. She was born in Ira 81 years ago, and lived in Auburn before going to Jordan where she had lived for the past 48 years. She was the widow of Clarence J. Hendricks.

      8he was a graduate of Auburn High School and Cortland Normal School. She had taught elementary school for 10 years in New York City.

      Mrs. Hendricks was a member of the Jordan Baptist Church, and Us Guild. She was also a member of Ida 8tar Chapter, OES. and the Jordan Study Club. She Is survived by a son. Royal L. Hendrick of Jordan; and three granddaughters. Services will be at 10:20 a. m. Tuesday at the B. L. Bush A Sons Funeral Home. Jordan, the Rev. W. Eerie Pettingill. pastor of the Jordan Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Maple grove Cemetery.

      Friends may call from 7 to 9 p. m. today at the funeral home.
