      Leo Fortino

      Leo C. Fortino, 64, of 5617 Circle Drive, Clay, died Friday at his home.

      Mr. Fortino was a life resident of the Syracuse area. He retired in 1986 after six years with the Onondaga County Highway Department.

      Mr. Fortino was a communicant of St. Margaret’s Church, Mattydale, and a former member of the Syracuse Boys Club.

      Surviving are his wife, the former Bertha Farmer; three sons, William of Nedrow, Michael of Lacona and Mark of Clay; two daughters, Patricia Fortino of Clay and Pamela Fortino of Syracuse; four brothers, Fred, Victor and Charles, all of Syracuse, and Robert of Cicero; two sisters, Eloise Whedon of Camillus and Gloria Ball of Cicero; a granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

      Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Pirro & Sons Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in St. Margaret’s Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.

      Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
