Bertha J. Farmer Fortino, 56, of 5617 Circle Drive, Cicero, died Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center.
Mrs. Fortino was born in Lacona and lived in the Syracuse area many years. She was employed with the Friendship Inn, Cicero.
Her husband, Leo C., died March 20, 1987.
Surviving are three sons, William of Syracuse, Michael of Lacona and Mark of Cicero; two daughters, Patricia Fortino of Cicero and Pamela Fortino of Syracuse; two brothers, Ralph Farmer of Lacona and George Farmer of Mexico; four sisters, Frances VanCamp of Orwell, Sally Lee of Baldwinsville, Florence Williams of DeKalb, Ill., and Rose Meecham of Oneida; two grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are 9 a.m. Saturday at Pirro & sons Funeral Home, Syracuse. Burial is in Onondaga county Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Onondaga Hill.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 514 Turtle St.
