Edith Whitney, the 6 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Whitney who live at Conesus lake, near the Geneseo pumping station, was fatally burned Friday afternoon, while attempting to secure a quantity of matches with which her 8 year old brother was playing.
