  In 1834 Leonard Chase married Sally/Sallie Blasdel (b. 24 Mar 1794 in Tamworth, NH; d. 20 Sep 1873 in Dearborn County, IN); she is buried in Cambridge Cemetery. They had two children: Jacob Blasdel Chase (b. 05 Apr 1836; d. 30 Sep 1898; bur. Blue Ridge Cemetery, Piatt County, IL; Find-a-Grave No. 70840510) and Sarah Blasdel (Chase) Curtis. Sally was previously married to Ezekiel Harper with whom she had three children; namely, Catherine Elizabeth (Harper) Smith; Ruth Morse (Harper) Bundy; and Joseph Morrill Harper.
