    • Del Norte Prospector dated June 22, 1934
      John E. Blasdel, 78, resident of the Del Norte area for the past 34 years, died during the night Wednesday. Mr. Blasdel was found dead in bed Thursday morning. Death was attributed to heart failure. He came to Del Norte from Oxford, Kansas.
      Mr. Blasdell is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Marshall Yates of Del Norte; three sons, Harvey of Del Norte, Wallace of near Grand Junction, and Noah of Mack, Colorado, and other relatives.
