  Logansport Pharos Tribune, May 8, 1985, page 2 BERT R. LODS MONTICELLO - Bert R. Lods, 77, Rt. 4, Monticello, died at 6:50 p.m. Tuesday in Monticello Healthcare Center following a six-week illness. He was born July 1, 1907, Monticello, to James C. and Pearl Bowton Lods. He was married June 22, 1928, to Mildred Vanatta, who survives. He was a farmer and a member of Monticello Christian Church. He was a lifetime resident of Rt. 4, Monticello. Surviving are a son, James, Connersville; two sisters, Lilly Rothrock, Glen Ellyn, Ill., and Letha Crowel, Rt. 1, Delphi; two grandsons and two great-grandchildren. Three brothers and a sister preceded in death. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Miller-Voorhis Funeral Home, with the Rev. Clark Shearer officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to White County Memorial Hospital.
