- Death came to Howard Farnsworth, 83, retired druggist, at Newton Hospital at Winfield Tuesday night about 10:05 pm. He had suffered a stroke about a week ago. Howard was an old time resident of Douglass and came back to make his home with his sister Mrs Grace Clark. Surviving him are a daughter, Mrs Grace Schreiner of Oklahoma, brother Oscar Farnsworth, and sisters Mrs Homer Bare, Mrs Grace Clark, and Mrs Ed Garrett, all of Douglass.
Hilyard will make funeral arrangements.
