• Notes

  Carl F. Blasdel, 90, went home to be with the Lord on November 10, 2015. He was born in Akron to the late Kenneth and Hermina (Myers) Blasdel, was a Garfield High School graduate and was a Navy veteran of World War II. Carl was an active member of Brown Street Baptist Church for 52 years, worked at Skorman's Miracle Mart for 20 years and retired from Berean Christian Bookstore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie; sisters, Roberta and Marion; brother, Kenneth; and son-in-law, Ron Victor. He is survived by his children; 18 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sister; and many other loving relatives and friends. Burial with full military honors will be at Rose Hill Burial Park. Published in Akron Beacon Journal on Nov. 12, 2015
