  Elouise Duncan Allen, a resident of Central and a homemaker, died Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at age 72. She fought a gallant battle with emphysema and slipped into the arms of Jesus at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born Nov. 29, 1934, in Walthall County, Miss. She was the daughter of Esco and Zella Glover Duncan. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie Clay Allen; son, Tommy Gene Allen; and brother, Herman Duncan. She is survived by a son, William Clayton Allen and wife Lynn, of Ethel; two daughters, Betty Ann Allen and Sue Hodges, both of Central; sister-in-law, Louise Duncan, of McComb, Miss.; sister, Regina M. Sanders of McComb; three grandchildren, Amber, Tiffany and Brock Allen; three great-grandchildren, Chase, Caimen and Kagen. Obituary published in The Advocate on 8/1/2007.
