  Mrs. Nancy Sue Riggs (nee Smith) died at home on June 23, 2016 in Harrison, Ohio at the age of 81. Sue is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Richard; her daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Keith Zell of Dayton; her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Donna Riggs of Colerain Township; her three grandchildren, Beth Heys (Dan), Margaret Guy (John), and Kenneth Riggs; her great-granddaughter, Charlotte Mistler; her sister, Violet Suit; and several nieces and nephews. Sue was born in Bright, Indiana on July 17, 1934 to Ivan and Margaret (nee Grubbs) Smith and was raised in Cleves. She was married to Richard on January 21, 1955 in Harrison. Sue loved sewing, as well as teaching sewing, and opened Sue’s Needles and Pins in downtown Harrison. Visitation will be Mon., June 27, 2016 from 10am until time of memorial service at 12 noon at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gibson Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. John’s United Church of Christ.
