Holmes died 2-8-1918 from getting hit on the head with a cross-tie he was loading. Seeb was married to Lula Duncan Holmes. They had 4 children, Leola, Elisha, Emma Mae, & Seba. Seba was not born when her daddy died. After Seeb died Lula married Ira Joe Holmes, Seeb's half brother.(Seeb & Ira Joe are half brothers). Elisha does not belong to Ira Joe, he belongs to Seeb). My grandmother Gena Holmes Holmes is a whole sister to Seeb E. Holmes & a half sister to Ira Joe Holmes. Elisha Holmes 3-2-1916 to 12-23-1995 & Pauline Myrtle Roberts Holmes 3-10-1919 to 3-4-2001. Their son Jewell Holmes, Tylertown, MS has talked to me. Jewell knows that his grandpa is Seeb E. Holmes.
