OBITUARY: Palestine (TX) Herald-Press, Friday, 9 May 1986: Ms. Estes Services for former Elkhart resident Una Dee Estes, 74, of the Eastern Star Retirement Home in Arlington, Texas will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Bailey & Foster Chapel with Jim Bob Paxton officiating. Local Eastern Star member also will hold a service. Ms. Estes died Thursday in Arlington. A daughter of Lewis and Emma Phillips Estes, she was born Feb. 16, 1912 in Elkhart. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Elkhart and a member of the Spring Branch Chapter #984. She was preceded in death by a sister, Effie Curry, and brothers, Warren Estes and Johnny Estes. Condolence calls will be received Saturday from 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
