Walter D. Paget, 86, died Saturday, January 7. Born in Syracuse, he retired from Pass & Seymour. Walter was a life member and past president/trustee of the Fairmount Fire Department, Navy veteran of WWII, member of Morning Star Lodge #524, a 32nd-degree Mason, a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Onondaga Hill Antiques Club, and Gardens Etc. He volunteered for many years at Community General Hospital. Surviving are his wife, Charlotte; daughters, Barbara P. (Jeffrey) Renshaw and Carol D. (Brian) Frary; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Leroy A. (Sarah) Platt; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard L. Paget, and a sister, Mary Ellen Hollington. Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, 5108 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee Street, Camillus. Burial: White Chapel Memory Gardens, Dewitt.
