Mouden, 77, of 102 Second Street, Fayetteville who died last Wednesday in St. Petersburg, Florida while visiting her daughter, Mrs. Manton C. Cotton. The rites were at Eaton Tubbs, the Rev Edw. Bachman officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Springfield, Mass. Mrs. Moulden was born in Rochester and lived in Springfield, Mass before moving to Fayetteville six years ago. She was a member of Fayetteville Methodist Church, The Women's Society of Christian Service and the Dames of Malta and Orange Lodge, both in Rochester. Edith Marie Blasdel, 101, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014. She was born March 21, 1913 in Pendelton County, Kentucky, daughter of the late George and Chloe (McMillen) Bentle.
Edith was a member of the Greendale First Church of Christ; RSVP; and taught piano lessons for 30 years.
She is survived by her son, Paul (Pattie) Blasdel of Ladera Ranch, CA; daughter, Brenda (Dexter) Higgins of Memphis, TN; brother, Willis Bentle of Lawrenceburg, IN; sister, LaVern Blasdel of Lawrenceburg, IN; 3 grandchildren, Matthew Blasdel, Elizabeth George, Paul Higgins; and 5 great grandchildren, Machaela, Gwyneth, Faith, Brookelynn, and George Clarence "GC".
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin W Blasdel; and her parents, George and Chloe Bentle.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, April 28, 2014 from 5pm to 8pm at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Greendale First Church of Christ, Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 11am, with Pastor Tim Russell officiating.
Interment will follow in the Gibson Cemetery, Bright, Indiana.

Elizabeth Beams was born 19 Nov 1810 to James Beams and Nancy Lay in Whitley County, Kentucky, on the Cumberland River near Williamsburg. Her parents were early settlers to the area having arrived in Kentucky from North Carolina.
Elizabeth married William Lloyd Cooper, son of Amos Cooper and Hannah Lloyd Cooper on 10 May 1831 in Crawford County, Illinois They had eight children, one of whom died. They are:

George (died at age 18 in 1840)
James (married Corinda Evans)

The Coopers left Crawford County for Will County near Joliet for one year then came west to Stephenson County in 1841 where they ultimately purchased land from the government and cultivated the untouched prairie. They farmed for about 12 years before selling the farm and moving into the town of Rock Grove. Mr Cooper died in 1886. Mrs Cooper moved to Iowa and at the end of her life resided with her daughter Mary Smull in Plainfield. Elouise Duncan Allen, a resident of Central and a homemaker, died Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at age 72. She fought a gallant battle with emphysema and slipped into the arms of Jesus at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born Nov. 29, 1934, in Walthall County, Miss.
She was the daughter of Esco and Zella Glover Duncan. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie Clay Allen; son, Tommy Gene Allen; and brother, Herman Duncan.

"A member of one of the oldest families of this county was born in Miller Township, April 19, 1846. He is a son of Franklin T. Blasdel, of the old Blasdel family, which was prominent in the early settlement of the county, and is elsewhere referred to in this work. Our subject was reared on the farm and educated in the township and district schools, with the advantage of two years in the public schools of Lawrenceburgh. In the fall of 1862 he entered the war, enlisting in Company H, Eighty-third Indiana Volunteer Infantry, and serving almost three years. He took part in some of the most important battles of the war among which were the siege of Vicksburg, and the engagements of Sherman on his famous march to the sea- On his retirement from the service Mr. B. taught school five terms, and in 1875 purchased fifty acres of land, which he has since been engaged in cultivating. He was married, October 4,1870, to Mary E. Leming, daughter of Lorenze D. Leming, of Miller Township, an old resident of the county. They have six children: Flora E., Mabel A., Emma G., Quincey E, Franklin T. and Charles D. Mr. Blasdel is a member of the G. A. R., and Baptist Church, and is an industrious, reliable citizen in every particular."

She was a resident of the Acy's Creek community and the widow of Jason Hines.
Mrs. Lizzie is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Thad (Nell) Wright of Franklinton; three sons, Clayton Hines and Eld. Billy Ray Hines, both of Bogalusa, and Marcus Hines of Pearl River; five sisters, Mrs. Maurice (Ruth) Thomas, Mrs. Walter (Rosalie)Heine, Mrs. Fred (Lucille) Thomas all of Franklinton, Mrs. Harvey (Alberta) Kennedy of Pearl River and Mrs. Lloyd (Margaine) Tynes of Covington; four brothers, J. M. Thomas, Mack Thomas, Dalton Thomas, all of Pine, and Berkley Thomas of Bogalusa; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; three great-great

She was preceded in death by a son, Eld. Silas Thomas and six brothers.
Visitation was held at Crain Funeral Home from 5 pm until 9 pm Tuesday and after 9 am Wednesday.
Funeral services were held at 2 pm Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Eld. Richard Magee and Eld. Glynn Erwin officiating.
