Marilyn "Mickey" (Wilson) Hasenauer Beloved wife, mother, grandmother CANANDAIGUA - Marilyn "Mickey" (Wilson) Hasenauer, age 77, of West Lake Rd., passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday September 21, 2008. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Raymond Hasenauer; five children, Michael (Marybeth) Hasenauer, Christine Rand, Barbara (David) Earley, Jacqueline (Ronald) Carson, and Nancy Engert; 10 grandchildren, Ryun and Sarah Hasenauer, David Simpson,Jessica (Alan) Reitz, Joey (Kelly) Earley, Daniel Earley, Elliot, Nicholas, and Jesse Carson, and Mikaela Engert; great-grandson, Eric Earley; niece, Susan (Robert) Golden; two nephews, Thomas (Rosemarie) Blum, and Terry (Beverly) Blum; three cousins, Geraldine Coy, Larry Knauff, and Jerry (Mitsie) Knauff; and sister-in-law, Lois (Robert) Treacy. Mrs. Hasenauer graduated from Nazareth Academy in 1949 and was employed by Rochester Telephone as an account representative. She was an avid skier and sailor. She worked part time at Ski Loft, and later at Snow Country as assistant buyer of ski and tennis apparel. Mrs. Hasenauer was a member of Canandaigua Yacht Club for 37 years. Her interest in nature, led her to dedicate her backyard as a wildlife habitat. Friends may call tomorrow (Wednesday) from 4 to 7 p.m. at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 95 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua. A brilliant wedding occurred at the home of Chas. Helmer, at Mays Point, Thursday evening when his daughter, Miss Emma Helmer, was married to James Marriott, of South Butler. Rev. E. Hoxie officiated and Arthur McGraw of Clyde acted as best Man and Miss Jessie Carris of Savannah as bridesmaid. The presents were very elaborate and valuable and evidence the high esteem in which the contracting parties were held by their friends.

Clyde - James Frederick Marriott, 86, a resident of the Town of Savannah, died yesterday (Feb. 23, 1953) at the home of the daughter, Mrs. Ada Halsted, RFD, Savannah.
He was born in the town of Galen Jan. 14, 1867, the son of William and Cynda Marriott, and had lived all his life in this vicinity.
Surviving is his wife, Mrs. Emma Marriott; two daughters, Mrs. Ada Halsted of Savannah and Mrs. Gladys Carr of Rochester; five sons, Ernest of RFD Savannah, Coyne of Rochester, Earl of Corning and Charles and Deward of Savannah; two brothers. William Marriott of Rochester and Charles Marriott of New York; two sisters, Mrs. Allen Conrow of Clyde and Mrs. Jennie Hopkins of Charlotte, N. C. 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at the Kenneth E. Lundy Funeral Chapel, 48 Sodus St., Clyde, tomorrow at 3 p. m., with the Rev. Ira Owens, pastor of Savannah Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will he in Evens Cemetery RFD Savannah. | Marriott, James Frederick (I4757)

Martha Ann Crosby (Barrett), 86, formerly of Buffalo, NY, and Mill Hall passed away January 6, 2015 at Providence Place Senior Living in Pottsville.
She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas, daughter of the late Stephen V. and Alice Barrett. Mother of Patricia (Nino) Petrelli, Diane (Bart) Szafnicki, Stephen (Kathy) Crosby, JoAnn Melisz, Martha (Len) Rath, Mary (John) Wasilewski, Katherine (John) Killinger, Kelly (Stacey) Hibbler, and Terrence Guagliano. Dearest Aunt of Thomas (Chris) Crosby. Sister of the late Alice (Ellis) Collins.
She was deeply loved and will be missed by her 25 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Martha was active in the Immaculate Conception Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Ancient Order of the Hibernians. Martha was retired from Clinton County Office of the Aging, American Color Corp., and Susquehanna Legal Services.
The family will be present at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St. Flemington, Pa 17745 on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 2-9 pm.

Mary Elizabeth (Blasdel) Bennett, 80, of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006 in Dayton, Ohio.
Born on Dec. 10, 1925 in Bright, Ind., she was the daughter of Walter and Lillian (Jackson) Blasdel. She graduated from Bright High School in Bright, Ind. She was a member of the Lewisburg Garden Club and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lewisburg. She was also a volunteer for the LOGOS Program at Trinity Lutheran Church. She retired as a waitress from Red Lobster in Dayton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Ervin Blasdel; and sister, Anna Benjamin.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Richard Bennett of Brookville, Ohio; son and daughter-in-law, Denny and Carol Bennett of Bellbrook, Ohio; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Bill Beekman of Beavercreek, Ohio; brother, John Blasdel of Bright, Ind.; sisters, Wilma Elmer of Sun City Center, Fla., Alice Rustemeyer of Illinois, and Lois Gellert of Indiana; grandchildren, Matt (Liz) Espy of Chicago, Ill., Ivan Bennett of Cincinnati, Ohio, Marie (Jason) Chambers of Perrysburg, Ohio, and Amy Bennett (Brett) Wenzler of Waynesville, Ohio; great-grandchild, Jack Chambers of Perrysburg, Ohio.

Inurnment will be held at Elmwood St. Joseph Cemetery, Mason City, at a later date. Military honors will be conducted by members of Mason City Veterans Memorial Association. Robert Martin Sinnott, the son of William and Myrtle (Cullins) Sinnott was born June 12, 1922, at Mason City. He received his education from the Mason City School System. On March 12, 1943, he enlisted in the United States Army/Air Force. He was honorably discharged on Jan. 25, 1946. Bob is survived by his wife, Charlotte, of Mason City, three sons, Danny Sinnott of Reno, Nev., Michael and Dalene Sinnott of Cedar Rapids, and William and Shirley Sinnott of Waterloo; five grandchildren, Michael Jr. and Matthew Sinnott of Cedar Rapids, Mark and Sarah Sinnott of Cedar Falls, and Megan and Melissa Sinnott of Waterloo. Honcut, July 2 -- Emily May Horton, wife of Dr. T.W. Horton, of Honcut, passed away at the Rideout Hospital in Marysville Saturday morning after an illness of only a few days duration.
Deceased was a native of Texas, and would have been 51 years of age on the 20th day of next October. She was well known in the Honcut district where she had resided for many years, making many friends by her motherly ways and kind disposition.
By the death of Mrs. Horton a large number of relatives are left to mourn her calling. She was the mother of Roscoe and Ray Mitchell, Mrs. Bertha Walker, Mrs. Ethel Keith and Mrs. Minnie Howe. She also leaves two brothers, Monroe and Hugh Armstrong of Honcut and one sister, Mrs. Mary Schneider.
The remains are at the mortuary chapel of Kelley Brothers in Marysville, from where they will be forwarded to Honcut this evening. Interment will be made in the cemetery at Gridley, Monday.

MAXINE HART
Lois Maxine Hart - 79 - of Clarinda died December 17, 2002 at Clarinda Regional Health Center in Clarinda, Iowa. She was born May 28, 1923, in Shenandoah to William and Dollie (Welch) O'Day. she was a graduate of Shenandoah High School. On August 9, 1945, she married Lawrence Oliver Hart. She was director of medical records at Clarinda regional Health Center and retired after 16 years. She was a member of the First Christian church in Clarinda.
Mrs. Hart was preceded in death by her parents: Husband, Lawrence; son, Gene Hart; sibling, Ruby and Glenn O'Day.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Gary and Emily Hart of Montezuma; John and Susan Hart of Burnet, Texas; Patsy and Lou Mayberry of Crescent; Dale and Carol Hart of Goddard, Kansas; special friend, Wally Flynn of Shenandoah; 12 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; siblings and their spouses, Peggy Jackson, Nancy and Wayne Smith, all of council Bluffs, Iowa; Colleen and Monty Goodwin of Severance, Kansas; Jane Slauter of LaVista, Nebraska; Betty Croft of Olathe, Kansas; and Pete and Mary O'Day of Millbrook, Alabama.
Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. on Friday at Walker-Merrick Funeral Home in Clarinda with Rev. John Clark Officiating. Visitation will be from 7 - 8 P.M., on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Clarinda Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Page County Home Health. Walker - Merrick Funeral Home in Clarinda is in charge of arrangements.

Mildred Cooper Johnson, 84, of Harrisville passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012, at her residence. Born in Tylertown on January 26, 1928, a daughter of the late Vera (Duncan) and Willis Rushing, Mildred is survived by four daughters, Jean (Danny) Williams, Judy (Doug) Grantham, Jill (Mike) Zattoni, all of Harrisville, and Jan (John) White, of Louisville; a brother, Willis (Bonnie) Rushing of Tylertown; and two sisters, Margie (Ray) Prescott, of Georgetown, Texas and Lucille (Buddy) Jarvis, of Pearland, Texas. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, James Edward (Jimbo) Cooper.
Arrangements were entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
Visitation was Monday, October 15, 2012, from 5-6 p.m. at Harrisville Baptist Church . The religious service followed at 6 pm with Dr. David Sartin officiating. Graveside service and interment was Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Lakewood Memorial Park on Clinton Boulevard, Jackson.

Mildred Sneeden McIver, 98, died Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She was born July 17, 1920 in Wilmington, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Eula Lemuel Owen and John Robert Sneeden.
She received her education at Isaac Bear Elementary School, New Hanover High School and Queens College, Charlotte, North Carolina, where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. After marrying Malcolm C. McIver, Jr., she lived in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where her husband served as minister to students and faculty at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Following two years at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, they lived twenty-seven years in Richmond, Virginia. In 19981, she and her husband retired and returned to Wilmington.
Mrs. McIver was active in church and civic life wherever she lived. She was a former president of the Junior League of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; served on the board of directors and later president of the Virginia League for Planned Parenthood. With her husband she served on the international board of directors of the Association for Couples in Marriage Enrichment (A.C.M.E.), serving as president couple, 1982-1985. In 2003, she and her husband were awarded the David and Vera Mace medal for outstanding leadership in the Marriage Enrichment Movement in North America and abroad.
Sabbatic leaves were spent in volunteer service for the Board of International Mission, Presbyterian Church, U.S., serving in Africa, Japan, Taiwan, Korea and the Philippines.
Mrs. McIver was a member of St. Andrews-Covenant Presbyterian Church, the Association for Couples in Marriage Enrichment; the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution; and the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth McIver of Wilmington; daughter-in-law, Rosellyn McIver of Brenham, Texas; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her husband, Malcolm C. McIver, Jr., son, Malcolm C. McIver, III, sister, Gladys S. McIver, and a granddaughter, Alice Cathryn McIver Ross, preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, May 2, 2019, at St. Andrews-Covenant Presbyterian Church, 15th and Market Streets with Rev. Rob Lapp officiating. Friends may greet the family following the memorial service.

Charles Pfenninger, who lived about 2 miles east of the village died Tuesday at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester where he was taken for an operation. He had been sick for a long time, his disease baffling the skill of all the doctors and it was finally decided to have an operation performed. This was on Monday and he was found to have an ulceration of the stomach and to be in such a condition that there was no hope of his recovery. The remains were brought to Fairport by Undertaker Shaw and the funeral will be held from the house tomorrow at one o'clock. Mr. Pfenninger was a well to do farmer, having resided on his farm east of the village for a number of years. He was an active member of the Free Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife and four children (two sons and two daughters: R.D., Howard, Ida and Edna) all living at home. MONTICELLO - The funeral of Alice D. Howie, 87, was held Monday morning, Sept. 20, at First Presbyterian church with interment in Oakwood cemetery Monticello. Rev. W. Willis Longer officiated.
Mrs. Howie died suddenly of an apparent heat [s/b heart?] attack at her home in Monticello Friday afternoon, Sept. 17.
She was born near Monticello Feb. 1, 1889, the daughter of John A. and Nellie Noble Deischer.
She received her early education in the Jones county schools. A graduate of Monticello high school, she received a degree from Coe college, Cedar Rapids, and taught in Iowa schools.
On April 5, 1916, she married Robert J. Howie in Monticello. The couple farmed near Monticello. After the accidental death of her husband Nov. 1, 1934, she remained on the Howie farm for a few years before returning to the teaching vocation in 1944 and retiring in 1960. Since then she had made her home in Monticello.
Mrs. Howie was a member of Schreiner chapter, OES, Pythian Sisters, Monticello Garden club, Idle Not club, and the League of Women Voters.
Surviving are 4 children: Mrs. John (Ruth) D. Morris of Columbus, Jct., Kenneth D. and Mrs. Janet Motsinger of Monticello and Col. Donald E. of Rockville, Md.
Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Mrs. Lucille Jackson, Columbus, Mo., and Mrs. Harland (Blanche) Harper, Vinton.
Her husband, a son, Robert, a granddaughter, two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Mooers - Gary G. Jock, 76, formerly of the LaValley Road, Mooers, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at the Evergreen Valley Nursing Home in Plattsburgh.
He was born in Malone, Sept. 16, 1938, the son of the late, Wesley and Edna (Pepper) Jock. He grew up on Cooks Corners in North Bangor and graduated from Franklin Academy.
He was a longtime resident of Mooers. You could catch Gary most nights having a coffee with the guys at the restaurant or at the local fire department where he was a volunteer firefighter and founding member and an EMT of the rescue squad. He was also a member and past president of the Clinton County Fireman's Association. In the winter he would hunt with his friends, brothers, nephews or his son. In the summer, he loved to be on his boat fishing.
Always a hard worker, Gary worked at various jobs as a young man. He spent many years working for Coca Cola while helping raise three children with his former wife, Marilyn Sands. He was owner of Pat and Gary's Big and Tall shop in Plattsburgh and didn't think twice about helping his customers with fit or delivery of their clothes. Following retirement he enjoyed greeting and waiting on people at Walmart in Plattsburgh.
Left to cherish his memories include his three children, David (Sandra) Jock, James (Debbi) Jock of Cadyville, and Michele (Rocco) Orlando of Plattsburgh; two brothers , Robert (Marie) Jock of Brushton and Don (Janice) Jock of Lyons; grandchildren, Eric, Kelli, Kathy, and Ashley Jock and Gabrielle and Shawn Orlando; his first wife, Marilyn Williams; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
