Morey E. Power died at his home in Buffalo on Monday and his remains were brought to this village for burial. The funeral services were held at the home of his father, M. A. Power, Prospect street, on Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Fred T. Galpin officiating. Deceased was formerly a resident of this village and removed to Buffalo about seven years ago. He had been poor health for some years past and death was due to consumption. Besides his wife and four-year-old son, he is survived by his parents, one brother, Luke, and three sisters, Mrs. John Stokoe, Mrs. Herbert Wiley and Mrs. L. D. Herendeen of Canandaigua and vicinity. Deceased was nearly 40 years of age.

MOSHER-In Auburn, N.Y., Monday morning. April 16, 1906, Mary Tempest, wife of Orlando A. Mosher, aged 45 years, 8 months and 1 day. AUBURN N.Y. WEEKLY BULLETIN
Mary Tempest, wife of Orlando A Mosher died April 16, at No 16 Church St. Auburn, after a brief illness of pneumonia, aged 48 years.
She was the daughter of the late James Tempest of Throop. She leaves a fond husband and three sons and two daughters to mourn her loss. She also leaves a brother, John Tempest of Fox Ridge and numerous friends. Her life was spent in Throop, Fox Ridge and Auburn.
Her funeral was attended at her late home, No 16 Church St. Wednesday, April 18, Rev. Wm. H. Hubbard officiating. Flowers were profuse, given by kind friends. Burial was at Throop cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Bellows went to Central Square, Tuesday, Dec. 21, to attend the funeral of Mr. Bellows'mother, Mrs. Fidelia Bellows, whose death occurred at the home of her brother, Silas Parker, at Central Square on December 18th. Mrs. Bellows was 76 years old and was well known in Fulton, where she lived for some time with her son, C. F. Bellows. She was a member of the W. R. C. and Eastern Star of Central Square. She is survived by one son, C. F. Bellows of Fulton, one daughter, Mrs. F. B. Lovelace of Baldwinsville, and one brother, Silas Parker, at whose home she died. The funeral was held at Central Square this afternoon and burial was made at Caughdenoy.

Passed Away This Morning at The Home of His Daughter, Mrs. C. G. Huntington at Piedmont Park.
Mr. Henry Van Middlesworth died this morning at 12:20 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. G. C. Huntington, on Central avenue, Piedmont Park. Mr. Van Middlesworth had been an invalid for just a year and critically ill for the past two weeks and his death was not unexpected.
Mr. Van Middleworth was a native of Waterloo, N. Y., where he had been connected with a wagon manufacturing company. He came to Charlotte a year ago and since that time he and his wife have lived with Mr. and Mrs. Huntington. He was 75 years old, and besides his wife and Mrs. Huntington, is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Frank Nye, of Port Bryon, N. Y.; and one son, Mr. Frank Van Middlesworth, of Colorado.
The arrangements for the funeral have not yet been made. Mr. Huntington was in Orangeburg, S. C., last night and was telegraphed for. He will arrive this morning and the plans for the funeral and interment will be made. It is probable that the remains will be shipped to Waterloo, N. Y.

The funeral services of Mr. Henry Van Middlesworth, who died Friday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. G. C. Huntington, at Piedmont Park, will be at the residence this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, by Rev. M. D. Hardin, pastor of the Second Presbyterian church. The interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery.

Mrs. A. T. Holmes funeral rites held Tuesday
Funeral services for Mrs. Amazon T. Holmes, whose son, William Holmes is a Tylertown resident, were conducted from Ginn Funeral Home Chapel here Tuesday.
Mrs. Holmes died Monday at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Shelton Harvey of New Orleans, LA. She was 92.
The Rev. Bartis Harper, pastor of East Columbia Baptist Church, officiated at the final rites. Ginn Funeral Home was in charge with interment in Fortenberry Cemetery at Foxworth.
A native of Marion County, Mrs Holmes was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Turnage. She married Sam Holmes.
Pallbearers included Jesse Holmes, Willie Holmes, Alvin Holmes, Shelby Holmes, Harold Frazer, and O F Dier.
Survivors include four daughters; Mrs. Shelton Harvey, Mrs. Oscar Magee, Mrs. Kert Gonska and Mrs. Nick Sagona, all of New Orleans, LA.

Mrs. Anna Grosser, widow of George Grosser died Saturday morning at the family residence 180 York St, aged 81 years. She leaves five daughters, Mrs. Mary Bodensteiner, Mrs. Anna Vetter, Mrs. Catherine Vogel, Mrs. Barbara Volkmar and Mrs. Margaret Marx; four sons; Dominic, Michael, Joseph and Frank Grosser, 38 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Women's Sodality of SS Peter and Paul's Church.

Mrs. Boyd at Age of 90 Recalls Many Civil War Experiences
Mrs. Elizabeth Boyd, who has been ill in her home for several months, passed away Sunday, October 22, at 5:00 o'clock.
Deceased was born at Rock Grove, Illinois, August 3, 1849. It was one of her desires that she be allowed to live to the age of 90. She observed her 90th birthday in August.
She was united in marriage to Franklin Boyd who preceded her in death 18 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd came with their little family to Plainfield 56 years ago, and made this their homes continuously until the time of their deaths. Mr. Boyd was a Plainfield business man during most of this time.
Mr. Boyd was a Civil War veteran and Mrs. Boyd had a keen recollection of Civil War days and to the last could relate many stories and recall many scenes of those times. She was one of the few who could tell of how she attended and heard the Lincoln-Douglas debates in Freeport, Illinois, where the Boyds have visited and spent nights in the same hotel where Abraham Lincoln stayed.
Three children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Boyd: Roy, Frank and Hazel. Roy preceded his mother in death five years ago. One great-granddaughter, Jean Buck, passed away four years ago.
Her two children, Frank and Hazel, mourn the passing of their mother; besides two grand-children Mrs. Ruth Deikman and Mrs. Lucille Buck, and three great-grandchildren, Ruth and Robert Buck and Barbara Jean Deikman.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:00 o'clock at the home, Rev. A. O. Broyles having charge of the service. Mr. Howard Stevens and Mrs. Howard Roach, accompanied by Mrs. J. H. Mason, sang duet numbers. Burial was made in the Willow Grove cemetery. | Cooper, Elizabeth Beams (I4609)

Mrs. C. J. Hendricks
Mrs. Lena Brodt Hendricks of 20 8. Main St., Jordan, a retired teacher, died Saturday at her home after a long illness. She was born in Ira 81 years ago, and lived in Auburn before going to Jordan where she had lived for the past 48 years. She was the widow of Clarence J. Hendricks.
8he was a graduate of Auburn High School and Cortland Normal School. She had taught elementary school for 10 years in New York City.
Mrs. Hendricks was a member of the Jordan Baptist Church, and Us Guild. She was also a member of Ida 8tar Chapter, OES. and the Jordan Study Club. She Is survived by a son. Royal L. Mrs. Erma L. Agan, 67, of 400 S. Manlius St.,
Fayetteville, died Monday at home. She was the wife of Hiram C. Agan, superintendent of Fayetteville Cemetery.
Mrs. Agan had lived in Fayetteville for 27 years. She was a graduate of Central City Business Institute and was for many years legal secretary to Judge Raymond Barth. She was a member of Fayetteville United Church.
IN ADDITION TO her husband, she is survived by a son, Hiram C. Agan Jr. of Charlotte, N.C.; a sister, Miss Arlene Meyer of Syracuse; three brothers, Irving and Howard Meyer, both of Syracuse, and Robert Meyer of Arizona; and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Frank Boyd Passed Away On Saturday. Feb. 28
Mrs. Frank R. Boyd, 79, passed away Saturday, February 28, in Cedar Valley hospital at Charles City.
Mrs. Boyd was taken ill early in the winter with flu and had not been well since. During the week before her death, Cardiac trouble developed and on Tuesday, March 24, she was taken to the hospital.
Ollie M. Vosseller, daughter of Nelson and Emma Vosseller, was born September 25, 1873, near Plainfield. She was married to Frank R. Boyd, March 4, 1896. They spent their entire married life in the vicinity of Horton and Plainfield.
She leaves her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Buck, Davenport, Iowa, and Mrs. Ruth Diekmann, Plainfield; three grandchildren and one great-grandson; two sisters, Mrs. Della M. Taylor, Plainfield, and Mrs. Jessie Stanley, Charles City. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, a son and a granddaughter.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. at the Methodist church in Plainfield, Rev. Lane having charge of the service with Rev. Hilding Lind assisting.
Calvin Kelly, with Joan Vosseller as accompanist, sang "The Lord's Prayer" and "No Night There".
Casket bearers were George Wedeking, Howard Roach, H. C. Stevens, Harley Deitz, Harold Youmans and Clarence Storing.
In charge of the flowers were Mrs. W. DeLavergue, Mrs. Gertrude Dietz and Mrs. Maxine Lindner.
Burial was made in the Willow Lawn cemetery, Plainfield.

Mrs. James Quinlan--Mrs. Mabel R. Quinlan, who would have celebrated her 99th birthday anniversary today, died at 6:45 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, 1979 at Genesee County Nursing Home where she resided for one year. A former resident of 11 Lathrop Ave., LeRoy, Mrs. Quinlan, the widow of James Quinlan, was a school teacher at Stillwater preceding her marriage. She was born in West Middlebury, Feb. 9, 1880, a daughter of William and Mary Pfenninger Roeper, and lived in LeRoy for 65 years. Mrs. Quinlan was a member of Geneseo Normal School Class of 1900, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of LeRoy, LeRoy Women's Club, and the Visiting Board of Craig Colony at Sonyea. She served a number of years on the LeRoy Republican Committee. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Caroline) Empey of LeRoy; a sister, Miss Clara Roeper of Syracuse, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. There will be no calling hours. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Funeral Home of H. Steuber & Son, LeRoy, with the Rev. Charles Leport, minister of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Mrs. Klea Myla Parks, 78, Advance, died Thursday, June 13, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon.
Mrs. Parks was born in Indianapolis on April 15, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Leslie C. Young, Jr. and Myrtle (Nowlin) Young.
Reared and educated in Indianapolis, she graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1953. She later received her LPN and RN Nursing degrees from Rend Lake College in Illinois.
In 1954, she was married to John T. "Jack" Parks at the Lynhurst Baptist Church in Indianapolis. Mr. Parks survives.
For 31 years Mr. and Mrs. Parks lived in Illinois where she worked as a Home Health Care Nurse. In 1997, she and Jack moved back to Indiana and resided in Advance.
Myla was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She had a love for music and enjoyed playing the piano and singing. Her other hobbies included reading and all types of needlework.
She was a member of Dover Christian Church in Dover, and a past soloist for O.E.S. from 1961 to 1965.
Survivors include her husband, Mr. John Parks of Advance; a son, Mr. Kirk Parks and wife, Theresa, of Indianapolis; four grandchildren, Zachary, Chis, Sarah and Andrew, and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Myla was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Small and a son, Andrew D. Parks.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2013, at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon, with Rev. Jerry Imes officiating.
Visitation is planned from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.

MRS. MERCY E. SCOUTON
Following an illness of complications, Mrs. Mercy E. Scouton, aged 59, wife of Attorney James R. Scouton of 59 Park avenue, died at her home yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Scouton was a woman of unusually fine character and was highly thought of by all who knew her. An added sadness in the death of Mrs. Scouton is the fact that her daughter, Miss Rebecca Scouton, died only a few months ago. Mrs. Scouton was born at Eaton but has lived in this city for many years. She was an active member of the Grant street Presbyterian Church. Her husband and one son, Harvey, survive. The funeral will be held from her late home on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Interment will be in Tuakhannock Cemetery.

Mrs. Minnie Parmley, 78, died suddenly Monday, November 21, 1949, at her home in Genoa. Born in Venice, she had resided in Genoa six years.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jessie Hugunine of Endicott and Mrs. Lillian Fulmer of Tonawanda; a brother, Fred Grey of Genoa, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Myrtle Beck, wife of Charles Beck, of near Logan, died at her home Thursday evening, Nov. 20, after a few hours illness.
Mrs. Beck was the daughter of James and Mabel Sykes. She was born at Bright, Ind., May 2, 1897, and was 33 years, 6 months and 18 days of age.
Her early life was spent in her native village where she attended the public school and the M.E. Sunday school and church. At the age of two and one half years her mother died. Later her father again married and she was reared by her stepmother, Mrs. Flora Sykes.
July 31, 1918, she was united in marriage with Charles Beck. To this union were born six children, three brothers and three daughters.
Surviving are the husband, two sons Clyde James Beck and Donald Charles Beck; two daughters Ella Jean Beck and Wilma Louise Beck; two brothers Earl Sykes and Robert Sykes; one sister Bonnie Sykes; her father James Sykes; stepmother Mrs. Flora Sykes; father-in-law John Beck; and a number of other relatives and many friends.
One son Ernest Roy Beck and one daughter Doris May Beck have preceded the mother in death.

Mrs. Nancy Sue Riggs (nee Smith) died at home on June 23, 2016 in Harrison, Ohio at the age of 81.
Sue is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Richard; her daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Keith Zell of Dayton; her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Donna Riggs of Colerain Township; her three grandchildren, Beth Heys (Dan), Margaret Guy (John), and Kenneth Riggs; her great-granddaughter, Charlotte Mistler; her sister, Violet Suit; and several nieces and nephews.
Sue was born in Bright, Indiana on July 17, 1934 to Ivan and Margaret (nee Grubbs) Smith and was raised in Cleves. She was married to Richard on January 21, 1955 in Harrison.
Sue loved sewing, as well as teaching sewing, and opened Sue’s Needles and Pins in downtown Harrison.
Visitation will be Mon., June 27, 2016 from 10am until time of memorial service at 12 noon at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gibson Cemetery.

Myles L. Bacon, 87, of Marshfield, MO formally of Prattsburgh, NY died suddenly on August 21, 2015 due to a House explosion. He was born August 30, 1927 in Endicott, NY. Son of Lloyd and Grace (Alexander) Bacon. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Ellen (Bacon) Kingsley, May 17, 2015.
Myles served in the United States National Guard in 1950, being a Private, first Class in the 122nd Aircraft Control & Warning Sqdn in Indiana Air National Guard. Then he served in the United States Army as a Private First Class from December 1954 to April 1956. He was Honorably Discharged. Myles worked at McConnell’s in Prattsburgh for many years prior to his move. Myles loved the country living.

Myrtis Mary Rushing Duncan, 82, of McComb, died July 5, 2003, at her residence.
Visitation is 5 to 8 tonight at Catchings Funeral Home in McComb, and 9 a.m. Wednesday until services there at 11 a.m. The Rev. Kenneth Smith and the Rev. Ronnie Walters will officiate. Burial will be in Pike Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Duncan was born Oct. 23, 1920, in Walthall County. She was the daughter of Jesse Monroe Rushing and Pearlie Mae Johnson Rushing. She was a homemaker and a charter member of the McComb Church of God.
Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Webster H. Duncan; five brothers, George Harvey Bracey, Wesley Arwed Bracey, Hilton Rushing, J.M. Rushing and Lloyd Rushing; and two sisters, Nora Mae Whittington and Dorothy Jean Sanders.
Survivors include five sons and four daughters-in-law, J.L. and Vanetta Duncan of Summit, Wendell and Luci Duncan of Martinez, Ga., Charles and Charlene Duncan of Anchorage, Alaska, Bobby and Sandra Duncan of Cleveland, Ohio, and Michael Duncan of McComb; one brother, Hoyt Rushing of Southhaven, Ma.; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Reggie Duncan, Clay Duncan, Jesse Duncan, Scott Duncan, Shane Duncan, Jason Duncan, Kevin Duncan, John Duncan and Jacob Duncan.
